RHODES EYEING A TON
JORDAN RHODES aims to become a centurymaker today – after ending his agonising 12-game goal drought.
The winner for Sheffield Wednesday at Hull a week ago was the first time Rhodes (left) had found the net since notching in his side’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day.
It was also his 99th Championship goal in a career spanning Ipswich, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Middlesbrough and the Owls.
And, if he hits his ton at home to Reading, it will confirm Rhodes’ return to form after a wretched season at Hillsborough following his £10million switch last July at the end of a six-month loan.
Luke Williams (hamstring) and Jonathon Margetts (knee) are Iron absentees. Jack Fitzwater (hamstring) should be OK for Walsall.
