Ikea in recall of faulty hob
THOUSANDS of families are being told to stop using an Ikea hob amid fears they are at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The retailer said its Eldslaga hob has a faulty top right burner leaking gas above the EU limit.
Ikea has sold 5,757 of the hobs in Britain. Customers who bought one before January 1 should call 0203 645 0010 to book repairs.
No one has been hurt and there is no danger of a fire. Ikea said the recall was a “precautionary measure”.
