TSB BOSS IN A SORRY STATE
THE boss of TSB Paul Pester has said he is “truly sorry” for the bank’s IT blunder.
Customers have been struggling to log in to their accounts online.
The problem was caused by a mass transfer of data over the weekend.
TSB said for 20 minutes on Sunday evening just over 400 customers could view information in “connected accounts”.
Pester said: “This isn’t the level of service that we pride ourselves in providing, and isn’t what our customers have come to expect from TSB. For that I’m truly sorry.”
TSB’s banking website and app were temporarily suspended yesterday to try to resolve the issue.
