‘Relax visas to save NHS’

MINISTERS are being urged to let more foreign doctors come to the UK to tackle the NHS shortage.

It comes amid reports Theresa May rejected calls to raise the limit on Tier 2 visas for highly skilled workers – like medics.

Baroness Hayman told the House of Lords: “Given the severe shortages of doctors across the board in the NHS, isn’t it time the cap for doctors was lifted?”
