Fury at fresh badger cull

BRITAIN’S controversial badger cull was yesterday widened, despite claims it is not cutting bovine TB.

Farming Minister George Eustice yesterday announced a fresh plan to kill the beasts in low-risk areas if they are linked to an outbreak of the disease.

But Queen guitarist and campaigner Brian May said the cull “has yet to produce any evidence that it is reducing bovine TB”.
