PRINCE Harry had an emotional “last call” with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy a week before marrying Meghan Markle, friends claim.

Their chat left Chelsy, 32, in tears, so upset she considered not going to the wedding.

A friend of Chelsy told Vanity Fair: “It was their final call, a parting call in which they acknowledged Harry was moving on.”

The prince had called Chelsy to tell her that, although she was welcome at the ceremony in St George’s Chapel and afternoon reception, she was not on the guest list for the evening party at Frogmore House.

The friend said: “She promised Harry she wouldn’t try and gate-crash the party.” But Zimbabwean-born Chelsy is reported to have turned up anyway and at one point even approached Meghan, 36, to wish her well. Chelsy had arrived at Windsor Castle with Cressida Bonas, 29, another of Harry’s former girlfriends. The two women were spotted chatting together ahead of the wedding. And during the ceremony Chelsy sent social media into meltdown when she was caught on camera looking glum as the bride and groom exchanged their vows. Jewellery designer Chelsy dated Harry on and off for seven years but ended their romance in 2010, saying they would remain “good friends”.
