6in Crunchy Nut flake in my breakfast
A STUDENT found what could be the biggest-ever Crunchy Nut corn flake in his cereal box.
Hinay Lad was pouring out the cereal when the six-inch chunk appeared.
He said: “It just looked like a bit of ceiling had fallen into the box.”
He added that it “felt like a rock – it wouldn’t break”.
Maker Kellogg’s asked Hinay, 22, from Bradford, West Yorks, to send the flake so they can analyse it.
The firm said that the lump was “coating and cereal particles collected during processing” which had “passed the screening process and unintentionally entered the package”.
Hinay, who is studying healthcare at Queen Mary University of London, was sent £4 worth of vouchers by Kellogg’s.
