NATALIE PRASS

-

Prass’s casually astonishing, selftitled 2015 debut was recorded three years before its release. So perhaps it’s no surprise to find the formidable class and resource Nat, 30, brings to an elegant musical turnaround on album two.

Prince-strafed pop funk and cucumber cool 70s LA FM, with a little Steely Dan, all feature in throbbing and heroic songs running the gamut of rock, pop, soul and jazz chordings, while Nothing To Say is a Beyonce-style ballad with Karen Carpenter spirit.

A dazzling artist entering her prime.
