Tragic Leah’s cancer vigil under an oak
EMMERDALE star Leah Bracknell has a shrine under an oak in her garden where she chants to cope with terminal cancer.
The actress, 53, sits surrounded by flowers, candles and incense sticks, and practises yoga and shamanic healing.
The mum of two – who played Zoe Tate in the ITV soap from 1989 to 2005 – has terminal lung cancer.
She wrote on Facebook: “I might just take myself outside beneath the beautiful oak that watches over our home. I hope the neighbours have earplugs!!!
“I hope you can join me for a peaceful hour of serenity, love, prayer, healing, celebration and gratitude.”
Leah was diagnosed with cancer two years ago but has vowed to fight it.
