DUO MADD ABOUT JAMES

LEICESTER and Everton are ready to slug it out for Norwich’s England Under-21 midfielder James Maddison.

They lead the race to sign the £25million-rated player (right), while top-flight new boys Fulham are also keen.

A move could be made this week in case the likes of Manchester City and Tottenham follow up their initial interest. Maddison, 21, damaged a knee ligament on the final day of the Championship season, but should be fit by next month.

He scored 15 times in his first full season with the Canaries.
