Guns at airport amid terror fear
ENGLAND were met by Vladimir Putin’s elite armed guards as they landed in St Petersburg yesterday.
Four Special Rapid Response commanders in dark glasses, armed with rifles and pistols, monitored a small crowd as the players emerged from Pulkovo International Airport.
The SOBR unit will takes its place alongside police and FSB intelligence officers at England’s base in Repino, some 30 miles north of St Petersburg.
