Migrant clue to drugs bust

TWO drug smugglers were caught at the Channel Tunnel when officers saw that a migrant had sneaked into a locker in their truck.

French Border Force officers found cocaine and cannabis worth £2.6million hidden in bags in the roof.

Antonius Hendriks, 50, and Rene Neutboom, 35, used the cover of taking a stock car to a Norfolk race on August 31 last year.

They pleaded guilty and were handed 10 years, 10 months and nine years at Canterbury crown court.
