Trump has done nothing Nobel

Watching Donald Trump gorge on every second of the blanket coverage he was given sucking up to a North Korean tyrant, I was reminded of Cassandra’s infamous description of Liberace in The Mirror back in the 1950s: “That deadly, winking, sniggering, snuggling, chromiumplated, scent-impregnated, luminous, quivering, giggling, mincing, fruit-flavoured, ice-covered heap of mother love.”

Many diplomatic experts say he achieved nothing in Singapore apart from a photo-op which allowed him to paint himself as the deliverer of world peace in the hope the Nobel Prize Committee will honour him.

I hope they agree with most of the planet’s population that, with this ugly ball of irascible self-worship as President, the world is undoubtedly a more dangerous place.

And will only become more peaceful when he’s voted out of office. So maybe they should wait until then.

And reward the relieved American people with the No Bellend Peace Prize.
