Rescued 7 days after cliff plunge
SAVED Ms Hernandez SUNBATHERS Broadstairs beach in Kent A WOMAN survived for a week after plunging off a cliff in her car by using her radiator hose to get drinking water.
Angela Hernandez, 23, swerved off the ledge trying to avoid an animal she saw in the road. The musician survived the crash but became trapped. She was stuck for seven days and used her radiator hose to siphon water from a stream.
Ms Hernandez, of Oregon, was rescued when she shouted at two passing hikers in Big Sur, California. Her sister Isabel wrote on Facebook after her rescue: “My sister is alive, she’s talking and she’s still trying to come to understand everything.
