Dispute tsar for rail users

-

RAIL users will be able to take their complaints to a new independent ombudsman from November.

The Rail Delivery Group, which represents the industry, said the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman’s decisions will be binding and firms will have to act.

Rail Minister Jo Johnson said: “This will ensure passengers get a fair deal and help rail companies to improve their service.”
