£40m real Rich, Silva
EVERTON are set to splash out £40million on Watford winger Richarlison.
The Hornets paid Brazilian club Fluminense £11.5m for the 21-year-old last summer when Toffees boss Marco Silva was in charge at Vicarage Road.
But that has not put Silva off raiding his former club.
And he is keen to make the livewire forward his first signing at Goodison Park.
Richarlison netted four goals and grabbed five assists during his debut Premier League campaign.
But his form dipped massively when Silva departed Watford in January.
The Portuguese boss believes he can get him firing again on Merseyside and reckons Richarlison can boost Everton’s creativity.
Everton’s new director of football Marcel Brands has also given his backing to the move having watched Richarlison last season.
Watford are still angry about Everton’s pursuit of Silva and want a hefty fee.
