Bruce ready if Villa axe falls
STEVE BRUCE hopes to get the chance to continue as Aston Villa boss but “wouldn’t be surprised” if the Championship club’s new owners want to bring in a new face.
Billionaires Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens have arrived in Birmingham and set up a meeting with Bruce.
Thierry Henry has been linked with the job, but Bruce said: “I made myself clear when I said, ‘Look, whatever the state the club is in I think it needs me.’ But I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not going to be that way as we’ve seen it many times.”
