Regrets on new transfer window
PREMIER LEAGUE clubs could abandon the new-look transfer window after just one summer.
At least two clubs believe it should revert to the August 31 deadline.
It was designed to prevent chaos, such as Leicester’s Harry Maguire playing last week against potential suitors Manchester United. Last season, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played for Arsenal against Liverpool – then moved to Anfield just days later.
Premier League chiefs will discuss the window at a meeting next month.
