Brits love to talk weather
THE average Brit spends four-and-a-half months of their life discussing the weather, a study claims.
It is mentioned three times in a typical day – with each conversation under three minutes, totalling an hour a week.
Psychologist Dr Glenn Wilson said: “The weather is a favourite topic because it is non-threatening.”
Adults will also post six weather remarks a month and spend 11 minutes weekly on forecasts, a poll by Bristol Airport found.
