KLOPP WARNS STARS: ACCEPT BEING LEFT OUT OR ELSE!
JURGEN KLOPP has warned his stars: “If you have a problem with being left out, you will have a problem with me.”
Competition for places is so fierce at Liverpool that even mega-money signings will be axed from the matchday squad. Klopp (above) can
now field two teams of top-class internationals. And the Kop boss has made it clear to his men that it is not his job to mollycoddle them.
“This is the squad for the next four months until January... but I cannot make people happy,” Klopp warned. “Everyone who trains at his highest level has a chance to be a part of the team.
“The ideal size of the squad is 11 and no one injured. Then they are all happy, exhausted but happy. If you have 12 then you already have one who asks, ‘Why am I out?’ That is how it is.
“But if someone has a problem with it, he will have a problem with me. There are more difficult things in life than not being in a match squad for a day.”
Kop centre-half Ragnar Klavan (above) has moved to Serie A side Cagliari for £2million.
