A quarter of kids have not had eye test
ABOUT 25% of children have never had their sight tested, a study reveals.
And 52% of parents wrongly think their eyes are checked at school.
Some 27% confess they wait until the kids struggle with the telly or a book before arranging a test.
The Association of Optometrists quizzed 1,200 parents with children aged four to 16.
Its adviser Farah Topia said: “There is a window of opportunity to treat certain eye conditions.”
