OZIL CAN HAMMER JACK & CO

-

IT’S been a difficult season for Mesut Ozil so far. After his World Cup nightmare, the German playmaker spent Arsenal’s opening match chasing back Benjamin Mendy, before being hooked just shy of the hour-mark in the loss at Chelsea.

But against West Ham, the 29-year-old (above) should be handed the perfect opportunity to rediscover his groove.

The Hammers have conceded six goals in their opening two games, been beaten twice and a midfield pair of Mark Noble and Jack Wilshere has been found wanting – particularly in terms of being unable to protect their defence.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side are yet to find the right balance and Ozil should find plenty of space from which to dictate and do damage at the Emirates.

It’s time for him to roll up his sleeves and get back to doing what he does best. Bank on him doing

precisely that tomorrow.
