I’M A BOURN WINNER LIKE HERO GIGGS
DAVID BROOKS is seeking inspiration from his boyhood hero Ryan Giggs.
The winger (above) only joined Bournemouth from Sheffield United for £11million in July, but his career on the South Coast has got off to a flyer with his new side taking maximum points so far.
The Wales international, 21, whose side host Everton today, said: “I grew up a Man United fan so Ryan Giggs (circle) was always someone I looked up to and now I get to work with him with Wales.
“You take in all you can learn because he’s been there and done that.
“You look up to him, take all the advice and implement it. I like to get fans off their seats and try and be creative in the final third of the pitch with assists or goals.
“One reason I came to Bournemouth was because they play attractive football. It was the perfect fit for me.”
