On the 21st anniversary of her death in Paris, we show a radiant Diana, Princess of Wales, at the opening of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on November 8, 1989 as part of a Far Eastern tour undertaken with Prince Charles. The princess wore a diamond and pearl coronet, with a pearlstudded short jacket and gown. The visit came as the couple were experiencing marital strife, with Charles reportedly having rekindled his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles.
