Chainsaw yob attacks

A STREET brawl takes a horrific turn as a man tries to storm a young mum’s home wielding a roaring chainsaw.

Jess Appleby, 28, shot footage of neighbour Stewart Palmer’s rampage after he was involved in the scrap with her and partner Dean Brown.

Dean said he had feared for Jess and young son Archie, adding: “He nearly got in the kitchen. If I hadn’t kicked him and shut the door he would have cut us all up with that chainsaw.”

The brawl was sparked by a row in Jess’s front garden in Barnsley, South Yorks. Palmer walked off after the initial fracas gave way to more arguing – but returned with the power tool.

The CPS confirmed he was jailed for 24 months on July 20 over the attack, for affray, having an offensive weapon and criminal damage to property.
