12 more baby death probes
A DOZEN more cases are being probed at a maternity ward where mums and babies are feared to have died due to poor care.
The cases at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital come on top of 23 there covered by a Government investigation launched last year.
The Shropshire trust is reviewing births and deaths on its maternity ward from 1998 to 2017.
Chief Simon Wright said: “We take our responsibilities in reviewing these cases very seriously.”
