HAPPY TAYL FOR BOWYER

LYLE TAYLOR is reaping the benefits of extra training, believes Lee Bowyer.

The striker was on target as Bowyer marked his first game as permanent Charlton boss with a win. And he said: “I think the only way we can improve Lyle is by getting him fitter.

“He missed a few pre-season games and was a little bit behind so I just did extra drills with him.”

A Sido Coelho Jombati own-goal and Naby Sarr strike either side of Turner’s goal put Charlton in control. Randell Williams and Paris Cowan-Hall found the net for Wycombe.
