- BY PAUL BYRNE paul.byrne@mirror.co.uk

THE mother of four youngsters murdered in an arson attack said farewell to her “angels in the sky” as they were laid to rest.

Michelle Pearson said she would one day be “united forever” with them.

Hundreds gathered yesterday for the funerals of Demi Pearson, 15, Brandon, eight, Lacie, seven, and Lia, three.

Mum-of-six Michelle, 36, is still in hospital nine months on and her words were spoken by her sister Claire Pearson.

Lia was a “little chatterbox” and just thinking of Lacie made her smile through tears. Brandon loved computers and Demi would stay out late “but I could never get mad”. Michelle added: “I’m so proud of them.”

Horse-drawn carriages carried their coffins to St Paul’s Church in Walkden, Gtr Manchester.

Firefighters formed a guard of honour. Zak Bolland, 23, and David Worrall, 26, petrol bombed the Pearson home after a feud with Michelle’s son Kyle. Bolland must serve 40 years for murder and Worrall, 37. Bolland’s girlfriend Courtney Brierley got 21 years for manslaughter.
