GERS ARE IN NEED OF A GEE UP

-

RANGERS boss Steven Gerrard was angry with his “basketball” side, despite beating DUNDEE 4-0.

Goals from Lassana Coulibaly, Ryan Kent, James Tavernier and Glenn Middleton made it a comfy win, with Kenny Miller sent off for the visitors.

But Gerrard (above), famed for his high standards at Liverpool, was still not happy. He said: “We got an important win, four goals and a clean sheet. But it wasn’t a great performance. It was good enough but we will play better than that.”

Miller saw red for a lunge on Borna Barisic, and also managed to break Andy Halliday’s nose. “He’s a good friend of mine but I’ll be having a few words with him,” said Halliday.

Steven Naismith scored the only goal as HEARTS beat MOTHERWELL and moved five points clear at the top of the Premiership.
