Tailgating is a major danger

ONE in eight car crashes is caused by tailgating.

More than 100 people are killed or seriously injured every year because motorists drive too close to the one in front.

Highways England, launching a Don’t Be a Space Invader campaign, said: “Stay safe, stay back.”
