Anita Folds Openshaw Manchester PJ Mack, Teesside I was sorry to hear about the death of Denis Norden, although at the age of 96 he’d had a good innings.

Denis was king of the blooper and I used to love watching him on It’ll be Alright on the Night which he hosted for 29 years. Neither Griff Rhys Jones or David Walliams, who later presented the show, could match his dry wit or comic timing. RIP, Denis, another comedy great gone, but not forgotten.
