I’d like to comment on the dilemma of the young husband married a year who’s been offered an amazing job opportunity away from home (and his wife) in London for two years (Dear Coleen, Sept 4).

Why can’t his wife join him in London at weekends? It’s a chance for lovely breaks, seeing the sights, entertainment, theatre, walks in the park, museums – and just being together. Sue Heslop, Essex
