Mo & Co have edge at Bridge

WE had the starter in the Carabao Cup, now for the main course. Fabulous as Eden Hazard’s (below) winner was on Wednesday night, I would not read too much into Chelsea’s win against Liverpool at Anfield when the teams meet again in the Premier League this weekend. At Stamford Bridge, Virgil van Dijk will be back in the side, Mo Salah (above) will start and Liverpool’s 100 per cent league record will be given its most serious test so far.

I have a sneaking feeling Jurgen Klopp’s side will edge this one because his front three don’t go missing in the big six-pointers.

But already it looks as if Chelsea and Liverpool are the only clubs equipped to give City a run for their money over the full distance in the title race.
