Clueless over coffee types

KNOWING your cappuccino, cortado and other coffee favourites is a struggle for over half of drinkers.

Only a third correctly described Italy’s short and strong espresso. Less than one in 10 explained new arrivals piccolo and lungo.

KRUPS, who quizzed 2,000 for yesterday’s International Coffee Day, wants to end the confusion.

“Which is why we created the ‘Coffee Confidence’ guide to boost people’s knowledge,” said the coffee machine maker.
