JOK SHOCK OVER ROUT

- BY TONY BANKS

STUNNED Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic accused his team of not being up to the standard needed for the top flight.

After watching in despair as they were routed at home by Arsenal, he said: “At the moment, we’re not showing Premier League level.

“I didn’t see enough solidity, effort or skill. We opened all the doors. We need to be more solid and better in these kinds of situations.

“We’re showing so many weaknesses for the level we’re at at the moment, defensively. We need to improve. This is what I’m worried about. We must find a solution.

“It’s not an easy competition. We have to be brave, be strong, and push forward ready for the next challenge. I trust them. If we do that we’ll win games.

“We played well in the first 45 minutes, created chances and gave them questions. But in the second half they scored very easy goals.

“I don’t think we lacked confidence. We found a really tough situation, and conceded goals in an easy way. My team tried. We finished the game with 21 shots, and the other team nine.

“But they showed the quality, the pace, the strength. This is what I didn’t see.”
