Prang after model tells ex she’d argued with boyfriend
KATIE Price was yesterday arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, after crashing her car following a reported row with her boyfriend.
The glamour model spent the night in the cells after the incident in the early hours of yesterday.
It came after she gatecrashed her ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson’s 30th birthday party at The Meze, a Turkish restaurant in Bexleyheath, south-east London, telling guests she had argued with her toyboy lover Alex Adderson, 25.
One reveller said: “Katie arrived around midnight and it appeared she might have had an argument with her new boyfriend.
“Kris wasn’t expecting her. He took her to one side. She wasn’t there very long and left alone. Kris is a good
friend and didn’t like to see her upset. He wanted to comfort her.”
Two hours later, her distinctive pink Range Rover was found – with her at the wheel – reportedly in a bush in Woolwich, south-east London, with a smashed front light.
Personal trainer Kris, who dated Katie, 40, for five months, was later spotted at lunchtime waiting anxiously for her to be released from nearby Plumstead police station.
She was driven away by a pal while she sat in the back with Kris.
Earlier in the day he had answered questions on Instagram about whether he regretted his romance with the troubled mum-of-five. He said: “No regrets. She’s not a bad
woman I wish her all the best.’ Adderson has been dating Katie since August and the last month the pair went on holiday to Majorca.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Officers came across a car showing signs of damage stationary at the roadside.
“A 40-year-old woman who was inside the car was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.”
Drink-driving carries a maximum penalty of six months in jail, an unlimited fine and a driving ban for at least one year.
The former I’m A Celebrity star has wed three times, and split from last husband Kieran Hayler, 31, earlier this year.
Last week, she booked herself into rehab at London’s Priory Clinic as an outpatient to treat her substance abuse and PTSD issues. She has also been battling to solve severe money woes.
