A MUSIC festival worker has told a jury how he used actor John Michie’s phone to help find the Holby City star’s dead daughter.

Craig Welsh, a member of security staff, said he used a GPS location service on the mobile to go to 24-year-old Louella Fletcher-Michie’s last known whereabouts.

It was hoped she would be safe, but when he found her in woods at the edge of the site she had died of a drug overdose. Her boyfriend, Ceon Broughton, 29, denies manslaughter and supplying class A drug 2CP.

Mr Welsh said: “Me and my colleague got to the location but found nothing. We carried on and I heard my colleague shout… I noticed a body on the floor.” Mr Michie and his John Michie and his girl Louella wife had raced to the Bestival site in Lulworth, Dorset, after a distressing call from Louella.

Bosses didn’t let them in so the dad gave staff his iPhone showing Louella’s last known location, the jury heard.

She was found dead at 1am on September 11 in 2017.

Broughton, from Enfield, North London, filmed her as her condition worsened and did not seek medical help for six hours while in the woods, Winchester crown court was told. The trial continues.
