MVG CLOSING IN

PREMIER League darts has been forced behind closed doors for at least six nights due to the coronavirus.

World No.1 Michael van Gerwen (right) will continue his defence of the Premier League title on six consecutive dates at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, from August 25-30.

The Professional Darts Corporation hopes to stage the last four league nights in Glasgow, Sheffield, Manchester and Newcastle before the top four contest the play-offs at The O2 in London on October 22.
