Crawl ordeal in wilderness

A HILLWALKER who crawled for hours after hurting her ankle in the most remote part of Scotland was safe yesterday.

The woman spent the night in the Fisherfield forest south of Ullapool before her friend walked for five hours to raise the alarm. The casualty was rescued by helicopter.
