Olivia: I used cannabis in cancer fight
OLIVIA Newton-John has revealed cannabis and gardening were the keys to her cancer fightback.
The Grease star said she hasn’t beaten breast cancer but has it under control for a second time.
The 68-year-old, who lives in Florida, said agonising pain forced her to slow down. But she added she loved spending more time at home gardening.
She said her husband John Easterling’s homegrown medicinal marijuana helped her deal with the pain.
Olivia said: “My husband’s a plant medicine man so he grew cannabis and made tinctures for me. It really is a magical miracle plant.”
The singer, who first had breast cancer in 1992, revealed in May that she had been diagnosed with it again.
She returned to the stage last month.
