RANGERS legend Paul Gascoigne has donated £1000 to replace a young disabled girl’s speech machine after it was stolen by callous yobs.

Paul Johnson posted on Twitter on Thursday night that daughter Miya Thirlby’s speech machine had been stolen from their car in Plymouth. The big-hearted former Ibrox star showed his generosity and responded to her father’s desperate Twitter appeal.

Our readers had their say about Gazza’s gesture.

Patrick Duffy said: “I am not surprised at all Gazza is a good guy.

“A lot of people with their own challenges and problems have empathy and generosity in their hearts. Good on you, Gaz.”

Joe Cassidy added: “Great to see positive news about Gazza for a change – top bloke and great to see him getting back on his feet.”

Kevin Mcguigan said: “He’s looking well. Keep up the good work, Gazza.”
