Piggery shed became a chamber of horrors
THIS shed at the Shotts piggery became a place of terror as a “punishment” area for the men.
John Anderson told the trial he was kept naked in the shed, made to eat dog food and told to drink his own urine if he was thirsty.
Petrol was poured on him and a child was brought in with a lighter before John was told he would be set on fire.
The child left without carrying out the threat.
But when asked how he felt at the time, John said: “I wished he had lit it.”
