Gibraltar KO leaves Ant hot & bothered

-

ANTHONY McGILL has slammed the “poor” conditions at the Gibraltar Open after his last-16 defeat by Lee Walker.

The world No.16 was beaten 4-2 by the Welshman – who’s ranked No.73 – yesterday but he was more concerned with the shocking state of the tables.

McGill said: “I wasn’t counting this tournament because the conditions are so bad here. It’s so hot the tables are so heavy. Every player will tell you that.”

Wales’ Ryan Day beat Cao Yupeng 4-0 in the final after seeing off Scotland’s Scott Donaldson 4-3 in the semis.
