Dead deer find shocks dog walker

A BABY deer has been found decapitated in a busy country park.

Dog walker Gordon Scott found the gruesome remains in Vogrie Country Park in Gorebridge, Midlothian, on Sunday.

He shared the discovery with a local community Facebook page, writing: “Was walking round Vogrie this afternoon with dogs when I came across a dead baby deer. Its head had been cut off.

“What kind of sick people do these kind of things? I have reported this to the police.”

Police said yesterday that they were investigating and asked anyone with any information on the case to contact them.
