It’s a knockout
Helen and Camilla are determined to pack a punch as BBC charity night returns to the ring
THE gloves are on for the most glamorous boxing match of the year as Love Island’s Camilla Thurlow and former Blue Peter presenter Helen Skelton prepare to go head to head for Sport Relief.
Six celebrities are squaring up in three bouts for the BBC fundraiser, with reality star Spencer Matthews taking on footballer Wayne Bridge and former S Club 7 star Hannah Spearritt battling singer Vanessa White of The Saturdays.
The event returns to the show for the first time in 10 years and the stars are determined to pack a punch.
Camilla appeared on ITV’s Love Island this summer, where she finished runner-up with partner Jamie Jewitt.
Helen described the bout as the “ultimate test” and has been seen in a clip flipping huge tyres while Camilla pumps weights.
The show will also feature a special edition of A Question of Sport presented by Sue Barker and Robbie Savage will be hosting 5-Live-a-side – an all-star football match that runs for 12 hours.
The Strictly Come Dancing team will also bring special performances from footballers Chris Kamara, David Ginola and Alex Scott.
Gary Lineker, Davina McCall and Ore Oduba will host Sport Relief on March 23 on BBC1.
