Gers host meningitis fundraiser
FOOTBALL fans will be asked to dig deep at Ibrox tomorrow in memory of Koa Brock, who tragically died from meningitis last week.
Koa’s life was honoured at last Sunday’s Old Firm cup semi-final when a balloon display was released before kick-off at Hampden Park.
The eight-month-old – whose dad Barry, from Haddington in East Lothian, is a Rangers fan – passed away after a short battle with the deadly illness.
Volunteers from charity Meningitis Now will collect donations and hand out meningitis symptom cards to fans at Rangers v Hearts.
