Saying no to hols rip-offs
MORE than three-quarters of families are taking steps to avoid holiday “rip-offs” after 72 per cent got caught out on their last trip abroad, a survey has found.
On average, they overspent by £177. And some 77 per cent are planning to take cost-cutting steps, according to the Post Office Travel Money poll.
Buying water in bulk, drinking local beers and sightseeing on foot are among the most common ways people plan to cut back next time.
