Towering inferno erupts

FIREFIGHTERS filmed a 50ft “firenado”, or fire whirl, which engulfed Ravensbourn Plastics factory in Derbyshire yesterday. The phenomenon occurs when cool air enters at the top of hot air, causing a twister effect. No one was injured.
