SOFA SO BAD
Settee chain SCS are feeling the heat from the summer scorcher.
Shoppers are soaking up the rays rather than looking for a new sofa, resulting in a 2.5 per cent drop in sales in their stores over the past six months.
And problems at House of Fraser contributed to a 4.3 per cent drop in sales in the 27 concessions they have in the struggling department store.
However, bosses said takings over the past year as a whole would still be up. Analysts still think SCS will make a £12.5million annual profit.
