Hospital is Streets ahead
I’VE heard politicians say that the public would only be happy if the NHS provided a hospital at the end of their street.
There is one place with overwhelming demand for a hospital – Coronation Street. Almost every character, including Carla Connor and Audrey Roberts, seems to have been in Weatherfield General. The care must be exceptional because they usually make remarkable recoveries.
The writers are running out of ideas. Perhaps it’s time to wind up this soap. RH
